Ultra Super Thin 1.67 Index Lenses This type of lens is particularly useful for those people with higher prescriptions. These high index lenses are manufactured with an aspheric surface design resulting in a flatter front curvature and a remarkable reduction in center thickness, edge thickness and weight by up to 30% compared to 1.50 index. Ideal for all frame types. How thin is this lens? This lens is up to 30% thinner than a standard 1.50 index lens.

2) ASP

The asphere's more complex surface profile can reduce or eliminate spherical aberration and also reduce other optical aberrations such as astigmatism, compared to a simple lens. A single aspheric lens can often replace a much more complex multi-lens system. The resulting device is smaller and lighter, and sometimes cheaper than the multi-lens design
